Booking Terms and Conditions
1) Bus Service Reservation
The reservation must be made by fax or e-mail. You must check the rental details carefully and report any errors or changes to us immediately
2) Payment Terms
The balance of the rental is due within 07 days of the departure date. In case of reservations made within 07 days of the rental, the payment must be made at the time of booking.
3) Payment Methods
Payments are accepted by bank transfer, cash or credit card (VISA/MASTERCARD).
4) Cancellation penalties:
In case of cancellation of the reservation, immediate communication must be given by telephone and subsequently in writing. Penalties:
- More than 07 days from rental = No Charge
- Less than 07 days, but more than 24 hours from rental = 50%
- Less than 24 hours from rental = 100%
5) Charges for program changes
There are no charges for minor changes to the program. If the changes alter the structure of the rental, a charge may be applicable. The decision whether the change is minor or not is at the discretion of Alterini Bus.
6) Charges for service extension
Any fraction or hour exceeding the scheduled rental time will be charged according to the rates communicated.
7) Reclami
In caso di un reclamo riguardante il nostro servizio questo dovrà essere immediatamente comunicato ai nostri uffici o rappresentanti che cercheranno di risolverlo. Se il problema non è risolto in maniera soddisfacente dovrà essere fatto un reclamo scritto dettagliato.
8) Our Responsibility
We will provide the service as specified in the confirmation and will be responsible for the acts or omissions of our employees. If, as a result of unreasonable delays attributable to the Alterini Bus company, the planned program is not completed, the amount relating to that part of the rental will be fully refunded.
9) We are not responsible for
- Accident, death, illness of passengers except if caused by a member of the Alterini Bus company
- Delays due to unpredictable traffic conditions or adverse weather conditions
- Theft of transported goods
10) Insurance Policy
All our vehicles are insured by UNIPOL-SAI with the following coverage limits
- € 50,000,000.00 per accident
- € 40,000,000.00 for personal injury
- € 10,000,000.00 for damage to property
You are covered by this insurance when traveling on our vehicle for damage to people or things that occur during transportation. It is NOT travel insurance. It is not mandatory to take out other insurance but we recommend doing so especially if you are traveling outside of Italy.
11) Maintenance and breakdowns
Our vehicles are checked monthly by authorized workshops and annually by the Ministry of Transport. In the event of breakdowns, the vehicle will be repaired or replaced as soon as possible based on the logistics of the problem. The company is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by the consequence of a breakdown.
The rental agreement implies acceptance of the clauses set out above.
Conditions of Transport
Alterini Bus coach, car and minibus rental Florence
1) Animals
Animals cannot be transported without a permit from the company. Guide dogs are accepted by the company but must be notified before the rental date
2) Smoking
Smoking is not permitted under any circumstances on our buses.
3) Seat Belts
All our buses are equipped with seat belts on all seats and it is mandatory for every passenger to fasten them on the bus during the journey.
4) Driving Hours
The hours of employment of the driver are regulated by law. The renter or the passengers cannot delay or interrupt the trip so that the driver violates the regulations. If this happens the renter is responsible for any additional costs necessary. In compliance with the “European Social Regulation in the road transport sector” we remind you of some general rules regarding driving and rest times for drivers:
- Permitted daily driving: 9 hours maximum, interspersed with 45 minutes of rest every 4.5 hours.
- Daily rest: 11 consecutive hours of rest in a 24-hour period, reduced to 9 consecutive hours 3 days a week, to be made up before the end of the following week.
Failure to comply will result in the driver losing two points on his driving licence IN ADDITION TO THE BUS BEING STOPPED ON THE SPOT
The rental agreement implies acceptance of the clauses set out above.
